James L. Mucha

James L. Mucha, 61, of Highland Valley Circle, Chesterfield, Mo., passed away at 3:29 a.m. on Monday, April 19, in St. Luke's Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1942, in South Bend, Ind., to Walter A. and Severine (Grzesk) Mucha Sr., who preceded him in death.

On Oct. 26, 1968, in Elkhart, Ind., James married Mary Lou Price. Surviving James is his wife, Mary Lou; a daughter, Kathleen S. Hawkins of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, Scott A. Mucha of North Richland Hills, Texas; a grandson, Travis R. Hawkins; two sisters, Joanne Roman of Granger, Ind., and Mary Ann Cofer of Marco Island, Fla.; and by a brother, Walter A. Mucha Jr. of Brentwood, Tenn.

James was a pharmacy manager in the pharmaceutical industry. He was on the Pharmacy Board, was a member of the Notre Dame Club of St. Louis, and belonged to the Elks Lodge -- BPOE.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, in St. Stanislaus B & M. Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
