SOUTH BEND - Forrest T. Muncie, 72, of South Bend, IN,
passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Forrest was born on
November 18, 1936. He was a lifelong resident. He retired from
Local #75 Pipe Insulators. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A.
Muncie; one son, Tony T. Muncie of Chandler, AZ; three step-sons,
Michael E. Hatfield of Gilbert, AZ, Daniel L. Hatfield of
Maricopa, AZ, and Jeffrey C. (Laura) Hatfield of Walkerton, IN;
four grandchildren, Courtney M. (Travis) Owens, Garrett D.
Hatfield, Kayla M. Hatfield, and Mason W. Hatfield; one
great-granddaughter, Lexis Owens; one sister, Sandy Maze
of Berlin, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Forrest and Marie (Anderson) Muncie; one
sister, Shirley Buczowski; and by two brothers, Jim Muncie
and Tom Muncie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2008 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Friends may call from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
