SOUTH BEND - Sister M. Deborah (Geraldine Agnes Murphy), CSC,
89, was born in Chicago, IL, to the late John and Mary O'Meara
Murphy. She is survived by her brother, Edward Murphy of
Illinois, and predeceased by her three sisters. Sister Deborah
was an elementary teacher. She taught in schools in Illinois,
Indiana, Iowa and Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to
the Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, Saint
Mary's, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
Reception of the Body and wake services will be at 4:30 p.m. today, Oct. 22, in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN. Kaniewski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
