Fae N. Myers

Jan. 13, 1916 - Aug. 8, 2000

Fae N. Myers, 84, of 717 E. Fischer Street, Kokomo, Ind., died at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, in the Windsor Estates Health & Rehabilitation Center, Kokomo.

She was born on Jan. 13, 1916, to R. Leigh and Mary Inez (Nevore) Newport in Ness County, Kan., and graduated in 1934 from Hanston High School, Hanston, Kan. She was a member of the Russiaville (Ind.) United Methodist Church, and was active in the Russiaville American Legion Auxiliary where she was a past president. She was a homemaker.

She was married to Wayne H. Myers on Dec. 16, 1939, in Wichita, Kan. He survives. She is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald W. and Bekka Myers of Russiaville, Ind., and Roger N. and Rita Myers of South Bend, Ind.; five grandchildren, Eric Myers, Joni Reed, Steve Myers, Alex Myers and Kelly Myers; four step-grandchildren, Robert Rosenbaum, Kinet Cowan, Deborah Ballard and John Koontz; and by nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Myers, and by a daughter, Judy Myers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, in the Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street, Russiaville, where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Rev. Evan Strong is officiating. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens.
