JOHN E. NAGLE  

ANN ARBOR - John E. Nagle, 75, formerly of Elkhart, died at 7 a.m. Thursday (July 14, 1994) in Glacier Hill Nursing Center, Ann Arbor.  

He was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Cambridge, Mass.  He married Mary Grace Gray on July 4 1942, in Mishawaka.  She survives, along with three sons, John E. Nagle III of Lee's Summit, Mo., Tiomoid M. of Angle of Dallas, Texas, and Dennis P. of Ann Arbor.  One brother, Edwin, preceded him in death.  

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hartzler Gutermuth Funeral Home, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. rosary service.  The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Ryan officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery.  

Mr. Nagle owned and operated Nagle Office Supply in Elkhart, retiring in 1975.  He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elkhart Area Chamber of Commerce.  He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp during World War II and was once a Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 50 in Elkhart.
