SOUTH BEND - Frank A. Nemeth, 80, of 1915 S. Taylor St., died at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Nemeth retired from South Bend Community School Corp. in 1979, and was formerly employed at Studebaker Corp. He was born Oct. 13, 1913, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.

In 1935, he married Alice Wroblewski. She died April 19, 1988. Surviving are a daughter, Delphine Nemeth of Lexington, Ky.; a son, Frank Jr. of Granger; three grandchildren; and three brothers, Emery, John and Karl, all of South Bend.

He was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church and formerly a member of its Holy Name Society and was a eucharistic minister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
