SOUTH BEND - George J. Nemeth, 82, of South William Street, died at 6:07 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Nemeth retired from White Farm Equipment Co. and was a former employee of Studebaker Corp.

He was born April 24, 1913, in South Bend. On June 20, 1937, in South Bend, he married Goldie A. Tomolak. She died Dec. 3, 1985. He is survived by a daughter, Jackie Priskosovich of South Bend; two sisters, Julia Sayer and Mary Hauguel, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Anton and Joseph, both of South Bend. He was a member of Calvert Rod & Gun Club and was a former Studebaker union official.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
