JOHN NEMETH

John Nemeth, 93, of 2220 Highland St., died at 5 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Hospital after an illness of two weeks. He was a retired farmer. Born ion September 8, 1869 in Sutor, Sopron, Megye, Hungary, he came here from Colorado in 1909. On August 25, 1895 he married Rosalie Heller, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, John A. of Mishawaka and Louis of South Bend; a daughter Mrs. Helen Nemeth, South Bend; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday in the Zahoran Funeral Home. Members of the Holy Name Society, Hungarian Division of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. He was a member of the Hold Name Society and the Woodmen of the World.

NEMETH – Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church for John Nemeth, 93, of 2220 Highland St., who died Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Rt. Rev. Msgr, John SABO, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Orban, Martin Szerence, Mike Olah, George Racz, John Vees, and John Toth. The rosary will be recited by the Sacred Heart and Rosary Society at 7 p.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home and by the Holy Name Society, Hungarian Division at 3 p.m. Sunday. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today.
