Donna Rose Newcomer

Donna Rose Baldoni Newcomer, 60, of Plainfield, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died Friday in her home.

 

Mrs. Newcomer had been a secretary for the engineering department at Taylor-Wharton for three years, retiring in 1989. Prior to that she was a secretary at Union Carbide, Indianapolis for five years and also had been a secretary for the Elkhart School Corp. for 10 years.

 

She was born Oct. 7, 1931. Mrs Newcomer is survived by her husband James B. Newcomer; three daughters, Victoria Sue Davis and Nancy Jo Eades, both of Avon, Ind., and Carrie Ann Newcomer, of Unionville, Ind.; five grandchildren; her mother, Sarah Fallis of South Bend; a sister, Susie Kalinowski of Los Angeles, Calif.; and three brothers, Louis Baldoni Jr. and Nat Baldoni, both of South Bend, and Sam Baldoni of Los Angeles.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Avon United Methodist Church.

 

Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Conkle Funeral Home, Hendricks County Chapel, Avon.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
