SOUTH BEND - Jessica M. Nicholas, 31, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Jessica was born on June 25, 1978, in South Bend, to Jeffrey and Kathy (Nelson) Nicholas, who both survive Jessica. Jessica is survived by her son, Devin Nicholas of South Bend; her fiancé, Jeff Wawrzyniak; two sisters, Samantha (Kevin) Grubbs of South Bend and Teri (Scott) Rorie of Gilbert, AZ; her grandparents, James and Geraldine Nelson of Mishawaka, IN, and Arthur and Hazel Nicholas of Englewood, FL; one niece, Harlie, and four nephews, Kutler, Austin, Dylan and Ethan. Family and friends may call today from 2 until 5 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will also take place today at 5:00 p.m., with Pastor Michael Brown officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a savings account set up in her son's name, Devin Nicholas, at any Notre Dame Federal Credit Union location.
