Patricia A. Nicodemus

SOUTH BEND - Patricia A. Nicodemus, 81, of Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle, formerly of North Huey Street, South Bend, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in LaPorte Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 16, 1915 in Quebec, Canada and had lived most of her life in the South Bend area.

 

Mrs. Nicodemus is survived by two daughters: Kathleen (Kenneth) Gross of New Carlisle, Ind., and Mary Ann (Paul) Shanley of Granger, Ind.; a son, Christopher Nicodemus of Tell City, Ind.; three granddaughters and three grandsons, as well as two great-granddaughters and a sister, Georgette Hostetler of Wis.

 

Mrs. Nicodemus had been a registered nurse who worked in the private duty aspect of nursing in the South Bend area. She had also taught nutrition at the Forever Learning Institute.

 

Funeral Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Friends may call one hour before services on Tuesday in the funeral home.

Private burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
