Sylvester M. Niedbalski, sr.

 

     Sylvester M. Niedbalski, sr., aged 45, 2?0? West Longley avenue, died at 4:05 p. m. Friday in his home of a sudden heart failure.  Born in South Bend Nov. 7, 1897, he was married in St. Adalbert's Roman Catholic church here in 1921 to Miss Clementine Zamiatowski, who survives.  He was employed as a carpenter-crater by the Studebaker corporation.  Surviving also are his mother, Mrs. Mary Niedbalski; three sons, Sylvester Niedbalski, jr., with the United States marines at Guadalcanal; Leonard and Daniel Niedbalski;  four daughters, Eleanor, Joan, Mary Ann and Genevieve, all at home; two brothers, Frank and Eugene Niedbalski, both of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche P??ce?na, of Chicago, and Mrs. Jennie Kujawa, of South Bend.  Friends will be received tonight in the home of the father-in-law, Lawrence Zamiatowski, 411 South Grant street.
