Clement J. Niespodziany: (South Bend Tribune 3/26/1962)


Clement J. Niespodziany, 41, of 717 Manchester Dr., died at 4:55 a.m. today in his home after a six-week illness. An employee of the Rockwell-Standard Corp., he was born April 20, 1920 in South Bend, and on June 1, 1946, in Terre Coupee, Ind., married Gertrude Lisek, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Audrey and Frances, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Henrietta Grontkowski, of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Niespodziany was a member of the St. Joseph’s Young Men’s Society of St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, with Very Rev. Msgr. Jerome R. Bonk, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
