September 16, 1904 – March 15, 1995

SOUTH BEND – Helen A. Niezgodski, 90, of Transitional Health Care of South Bend, formerly of Prast Boulevard, died at 2:45am today in the nursing center.  Mrs. Niezgodski was employed by Max Adler’s for ten years and Frank Kowiak Furs for 30 years.

She was born September 16, 1904, in South Bend.  On May 19, 1925, in South Bend, as Helen A. Slomski, she married Clem L. Niezgodski.  He died December 7, 1967.  She is survived by two sons, Robert C. and Cornelius R., both of South Bend; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three sisters, Clara Kopinski, Adeline Cytacki and Esther Miltenberger, all of South Bend.  She was a member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10am Friday in the church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 3 to 8pm Thursday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3402 Lincoln Way West, where the parish rosary will be said at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
