Forest Ray Nolen

Forest Ray Nolen, 78, of Pueblo West, passed away on Friday, Sept. 14, 2001. Forest enjoyed trips to the casino and the area Loaf N' Jugs where he played the lottery. He also enjoyed time away from everything and having a cup of coffee at a local restaurant.

Forest adored all of his grandchildren and was extremely family oriented. He truly enjoyed his time spent with his family around him. He will be truly missed by all who knew him especially by his family.

 

Forest is preceded in death by his father, Shannon; mother, Ermyle; brother, Kenneth Nolen; and grandson, Jason Nolen. He is survived by his sons, David Nolen of Portland, Ore., Timothy Nolen of Pueblo West, Colo., and Kenneth (Ann) Nolen of Littleton, Colo.; daughter, Jan-Marie (Chuck) Martin of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Heidi Nolen, Kurt Nolen, Jamie Nolen, Heather Nolen, Justin Nolen, Nolen Martin, Kendra-Ann Nolen, and Mike Hanson; five great-grandchildren; brother, Dwight (Donna) Nolen of Plymouth, Ind.; sister, Elenore Walters of Lakeville, Ind.; former wife, Maxine Nolen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

There will be a memorial service for Forest on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, 7:30 p.m. at the Adoration Church, 44 East Spaulding, Pueblo West.

 

At the family's request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local Red Cross Chapter for the victims of the World Trade Center disaster in memory of Forest Ray Nolen.
