Eileen M. Norris, 90, formerly of North Huey Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 4, 1912, in Gas City, Ind., to Clinton and Elizabeth (Ley) Thompson, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were four brothers and two sisters. On May 3, 1952, in Marion, Ind., she married David Norris, who passed away on April 18, 2002. Eileen is survived by a daughter, Mary Frances Norris of South Bend; and by two sisters-in-law, Thelma Thompson and Teresa Thompson, both of Marion. She belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church and their Rosary and Altar Society and to Bowlers Country Club.
