Evelyn M. Norris, 84, of Wolfe Bridge Drive, Granger, Ind., passed away on Friday morning, Nov. 3, 2000. Evelyn was born to Harry and Maude Bueche in South Bend, Ind., on May 9, 1916.

On Jan. 12, 1946, as Evelyn M. Bueche, she married Leonard G. Norris in South Bend. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Leonard in March 1989; a son, Leonard G. Norris II in October 1997; a son-in-law, Bryan E. Behrens in March 1997; her parents; and by a brother, Devon Bueche in August 1992. Evelyn was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church in South Bend.

She is survived by her four daughters, Sandy (Mike) Glossenger and Carol Behrens, both of Granger, Dona (Steve) Riege of Cassopolis, Mich., and Nancy (John) Harrington of Osceola, Ind.; a son, Ronald D. Norris of Granger; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Marguerite Meyer of Santa Monica, Calif.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Burial is to follow at the Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, to the American Diabetes Association, or to the American Kidney Foundation.
