Kathleen Ann Norris, 52, of the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died at 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, in the center. She had been employed at Kraft Foods in Chicago, Ill., as a computer programmer. Ms. Norris was born on July 1, 1945, in South Bend, Ind., to Forrest G. and Marie (Gornik) Norris, and was a lifetime area resident. She is survived by her mother, Marie Norris of Walkerton, Ind.; three sisters, Beverly J. Wolf and Doris Drucker, both of South Bend, and Donna M. Haigh of Buchanan, Mich.; and by a brother, Michael J. Norris of South Bend.

Mrs. Norris was the valedictorian of Central High School, class of 1963, and attended McMurray College and IUSB.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, with Brother Steve Nani of Hospice of St. Joseph County officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
