Peter J. Novis, aged 72, of 1517 Hildreth street, died at
2:45 o'clock this morning in his residence. He was born in this
county Aug. 17, 1862 and spent his entire life here. He leaves
his widow, Mrs. Charlotte Novis; one daughter, Mrs. Byron Bury,
of Benton Harbor, Mich.; one son, Forest G. Novis, of this city;
two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will take place from Broadway
Evangelical church Monday, with Rev. William J. Dauner, pastor,
in charge. Burial will be in city cemetery.
