Feb. 19, 1926-June 30, 1991 SOUTH BEND – Alma M. Nowicki, 65, of 2022 Scottswood Circle, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph’s Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. Nowicki was born Feb 19, 1926, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On August 20, 1949, in South Bend, as Alma Tohulka, she married Robert Nowicki. He survives with two daughters, Terri Hall of Dallas and Nanci Aho of San Francisco; a son Scott of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; and three grandchildren. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Ladies of Notre Dame, Elks Lodge, Diamond Lake Association and University Club of Notre Dame. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund of Zion United Church of Christ.
