Mrs. Bernice M. Nowicki

April 18, 1900 – November 9, 1983

Mrs. Bernice M. Nowicki, 83, of 2706 Frederickson, died at 2:45pm Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was a homemaker.

Born on April 18, 1900, in South Bend, she had lived here all of her life.  On August 11, 1928, in Chicago, as Bernice M. Sauers, she married Walter Nowicki, who died on August 9, 1979.  Surviving are four nieces and a nephew of the Edward A. Nimtz family.

Services will be at 10am Friday in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, with Rev. Bernard A. Pegarski, CSC, officiating.  Burial will be Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call form 6 to9pm Thursday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7.
