MISHAWAKA - Barbara J. "Jo Ann" Nunnally, died Wednesday at her home. She was born in Mishawaka, 10-19-1933 and married Homer J. Nunnally in 1951. He died in 1995. She is survived by her children, Nancy Ellen (Raymond) Andrews of Granger and Linda Joan Vetterly of Mishawaka; three sisters and a step brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer and a daughter, Debbie Victoria Nunnally. Friends may call from 4-8 pm Monday at Bubb Funeral Chapel . The funeral will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel.

MISHAWAKA - Barbara J. "Jo Ann" Nunnally, 75, of Creekside Court, Mishawaka, passed away Wednesday, December 24, in her residence following an extended illness. She was born October 19, 1933, in Mishawaka, to Jefferson and Ellen (Lunger) Pickett, who both preceded her in death. On May 18, 1951, in South Bend, she married Homer J. Nunnally, who died December 2nd, 1995. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Ellen (Raymond) Andrews of Granger and Linda Joan Vetterly of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Victoria Nunnally. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Chris (Mindy) Andrews of Mishawaka, Timothy (Ashley) Andrews of Osceola, Natasha Wagner of South Bend and Samantha Parrish of Mishawaka. Seven great- grandchildren, Chloe, Ariana, Dylan, Avery, Emerald, Amethyst and Jalen. Her sisters, Virginia Sheneman of Goshen, Nancy McGarity of California and Jackie O'Sullivan of Oregon. A stepbrother, Max Harshbarger of South Bend, and a sister-in-law, Frances Garman of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters. The family also wishes to acknowledge their appreciation and love for her lifelong friend and caregiver, Gary Bradberry. Jo Ann was an avid Notre Dame football fan. She loved FOP bingo, painting, embroidery and playing the organ. She had a special place in her heart for her dog, Jesse. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will follow the services Tuesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. The family wishes to have memorial contributions listed to the Humane Society.
