Miss Amanda E Nye

February 7, 1879 – November 2, 1966

Miss Amanda E. Nye, 87, of 416 Lincoln Way East, died at 1:45pm Wednesday in Osteopathic Hospital after an extended illness.  She was born on February 7, 1879, in Elkhart County.  She had lived in South Bend for 60 years, coming from Elkhart.  Miss Nye is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 7pm today at the Orvis Funeral Home.  Services will be held there at 3pm Friday, Rev. Kenneth V. Bateman, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
