MISHAWAKA – Friends of Charles Anthony Nyers, 57, of 58710 Ireland Trial. Who was founf dead early Saturday in his home, may call at the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Homes after 6 p.m. today and all day Tuesday. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Nyers was born Sept. 17, 1916 in South Bend and was a lifetime resident of the area.

On Dec. 1, 1939, in South Bend he married Theresa Forte, who died Dec. 24, 1969. Surviving are a son, Charles John Nyers of Columbus, Ohio; a grandchild; a brother, Peter Madaras of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Gerschoffer and Mrs. Margaret Day, both of South Bend. He was an employee of Adams and Lake, Inc., Elkhart, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Mishawaka Aerie 2083, Fraternal Order of Eagles. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 Tuesday in the funeral home.
