MISHAWAKA - Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home for Mrs. Theresa I. Nyers, 53, of 58710 Ireland Trail, who was dead on arrival at 19:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Mrs Nyers was born in Centenery, Ind. on Dec. 19, 1916, and had lived in Mishawaka since 1931 coming her from Centerery.

As Theresa Forte she married Charles Anthony Nyers in South Bend on Dec. 2, 1939. He survives along with a son, Charles John at home; three brothers, Angelo, Joseph and John Forte, all of Mishawaka, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Casper of Niles. Mrs. Nyers had formerly been employed by Adams-Westlake Co, of Elkhart.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mrs. Charles Anthony Nyers, 53, of 58710 Ireland Trail, who died Wednesday. Very Rev.Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
