Robert J. Steszewski O'Brien, 61, of Chicago, formerly of South Bend, died Wednesday night in Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mr. O'Brien was the owner and operator of the Ambassador Studios hairstyling and transplant firm. He was born March 1, 1927, in South Bend and moved to Chicago 15 years ago. Surviving are a brother, Donald Stevens of South Bend, and his mother, Adeline Davies of Niles.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Kaniewski And Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and was a veteran of the Korean War.
