MISHAWAKA - Eugene J. O'Chap, 71, of
Hubbard Street, Mishawaka, died Wednesday in South Bend. He was
born Oct. 31, 1925, in South Bend and lived in this area all of
his life. He was a self-employed body repairman. Mr. O'Chap is
survived by a friend, Frances Grey, with whom he resided.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas O'Chap and Gerald O'Chap both
of South Bend, a granddaughter, Stephanie O'Chap, a grandson,
T.J. O'Chap; and a brother, Arthur O'Chap of South Bend.
There will be no visitation. Services were
held at 2 p.m. Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.
Mr. O'Chap was a Navy veteran of World War
II, a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 3194 and American
Legion Pulaski Post 357.
