SOUTH BEND - Shirley (Chester) Odom, 61, passed away Feb. 8th in Oakland, CA. Survivors include her mother, Cleola Peak; her daughters, Sonja McNeeley and Shala Beverley; her sons, Samuel Lewis and Leeshaun Odom; her sisters, Ann Harris, Dorothy Bacon, Jacqueline Dillard and Sonja Peak; her brothers, Harold Peak, Reginald Peak and Rodney Peak; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Whitted/Williams Funeral Home, Oakland, CA, handled arrangements.
