Sister Alice Eileen CSC of St. Mary’s died suddenly Thursday evening. She was born Mary Josephine O’Donnell in Davenport, Iowa in 1891. She was on the faculty of St. Mary’s College since 1933. Prior to this assignment she was stationed in Washington DC and Boise, Idaho.

The funeral mass will be in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call in the convent until 8 p.m. today.
