OLTMAN- Services for John A. Oltman, 57, of 55416 Butternut, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev. Daniel Peil Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be at 8 p.m. today. According to St. Joseph County Coroner Stanley Kosielski ruling on the cause of death will be made Thursday when blood test results become available. Oltman was employed as a fork lift operator 11 years for the A.M. General Corp. He was born on Oct. 8, 1920, in Pittsburg and lived here most of his life. On April 11, 1964, he married Ruth H. Lancaster, who survives, along with a son, James of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Miss Carol Heil of Mishawaka; a stepson, Russell B. Schmidt of South Bend; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, Steve of South Bend and Mike of Cloverdale, Calif.; and his mother, Mary R. Oltman of South Bend. Oltman was a World War II veteran.
