Rosina C. O’Neill

South Bend – Double services for Frank J. Morra, 87, of 1118 Fairview, and his daughter, Mrs. Rosina C. O’Neill, 61, also of 1118 E. Fairview, are set for Monday.

 

Morra died at 11 p.m. Thursday in Healthwin Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. O’Neill died at 5:30 p.m. Friday in her home, also after a lengthy illness.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Bishop Joseph R. Crowley, DD, rector, and Msgr. John S. Sabo, pastor of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.

 

Mrs. O’Neill was a former secretary in the circulation department of the Tribune. Born Jan. 12, 1914 in South Bend, she had lived here all her life. On Sept. 11, 1948 in South Bend she married Donald J. O’Neill, who survives. Also surviving are a son Brian J., of Bloomington, Ind.; a daughter Mrs. Mary Gay Kay, of Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Lucia Genaro of Nashville, Tenn. She was a member of the Christ Child Society, the Rosary Society of St. Matthew Cathedral and the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary.
