Walter Maxwell Ort

In ill health for a year, Walter Maxwell Ort, aged 34, of U. S. highway No. 20, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph hospital.

Mr. Ort was born in Mishawaka, Sept. 10, 1910, and had always lived in this vicinity.

He married Miss Mamie Meyer in Mishawaka, Sept. 17, 1927.

Mr. Ort was employed by the sales department of the Ball Band plant.

Surviving are his widow; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Ort, north of Mishawaka; four daughters, Joan Louise, Norma Jean, Shirley Mae and Audrey Maxine Ort, all at home, and two sisters, Mrs. George Borden and Mrs. J. J. Philion, of Mishawaka.

Mr. Ort was a member of the River Park Gospel Center.
