Loretta L. Osborn, 76, residing on
Emerson Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away at her home on
Sunday, Jan. 19, of natural causes. Mrs. Osborn was a homemaker,
born on May 19, 1920, in South Bend, to the late Harry and Helen
(Starzynski) Gnoit. She was a lifelong area
resident.
On June 29, 1946, in South Bend, she married
J. Robert Osborn, who preceded her in death in 1960. She is
survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Susan Lee
Osborn of Decatur, Mich.; and by one grandson, William John
Osborn, at home in Decatur, Mich.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today
at the Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue,
South Bend. Father Donald Dilg, CSC, officiated. Burial followed
in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Friends called
from 9 to 11 a.m. today, two hours prior to services at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity
of donor's choice.
