Rev. Dennis Aloysius O’Shea CSC, 60, died Sunday in the community infirmary at Notre Dame after a prolonged illness. He was born Oct. 3, 1886 in Chicago. On June 26, 1914 he was ordained at Notre Dame and has been engaged in parish and chaplaincy work since then. His last assignment prior to his illness was as chaplain at Villa Anthony Old Peoples Home in Comstock. Mich.

The Office of the Dead will be recited at 8 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, Notre Dame, followed by mass at 9 a.m. with burial in Community Cemetery.
