MISHAWAKA - Marie E. Outcalt, 76, of 111 E. Leyte Ave., died at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital, after an illness. Mrs. Outcalt was born June 9, 1918, in Mentor, Ky., and was a Mishawaka resident since 1941, coming from Cincinnati.

 

On Feb. 4, 1939, in Versailles, Ind., she married Nelson W. Outcalt. He survives with two daughters, Vickie Lynne Kinzie of Bluffton, Ind., and Karen Jean Miller of Kenosha, Wis.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Fardo of Alexandria, Ky.; and two brothers, John Krayling of Knoxville, Tenn., and James E. Krayling of Cold Springs, Ky. A son, Gerald, preceded her in death. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 598, Osceola.

 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's disease).
