Henry J. Pacala, 69, of 1236 N. Fremont, died at 11:23 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness. Pacala retired in 1964 from the Bendix Corp.
Born on May 12, 1910, in Oscoda, Mich., he had lived here most of his life. His wife, the former Leona Pauszck, survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jane Frederick’s and Miss Jean Pacala, both of South Bend; a son, Henry J. Jr., of Canada; a granddaughter, a great-grandson; a sister, Mrs. Eleanore Jaroszewski of South Bend, and two brothers, Theodore and Joseph, both of South Bend.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral home.
