Services for Paul V. Paden, 72, of 129 Catalpa Street, Mishawaka, who died Saturday in the Cardinal Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 6:45 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Paul V. Paden Sr., 72, of 120 Catalpa Drive, Mishawaka, died at 3 a.m. today in the Cardinal Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was a local attorney for 50 years. He was born April 23, 1900 in DuPue, Ill., and lived in South Bend most of his life.

He was married to Mabel Scheibelhut, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Paul Jr. of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Rossiter of Fort Wayne; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. He was a veteran of World War I and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law class of 1922. He was a member of the St. Joseph County Bar Assn. And the Indiana Bar Assn.
