A graduate of Cincinnati Bible Seminary in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and History, he served briefly in the ministry before a lengthy career in the insurance business. Most recently he worked in Mendon, Mich., assisting son-in-law, Robert Kline, with the daily operation of Maple Shade Farms. He was semi-retired at the time of his death.

Mr. Paeplow, "Bill" to all his friends, was a gregarious and engaging individual who served the Church of Christ in many capacities from Minister and Elder to common servant of God. His love for his family, especially his grandchildren, showed in every aspect of his life. To those who knew him well, his passing will create a void which can never be filled. He is with the Lord now and will be there to meet us on that special day.
