Laura M. Paprocki (Aug. 20, 1916 - Jan. 28, 1998)

SOUTH BEND - Laura M. Paprocki, 81, of Mulberry Road, South Bend, Ind., died at 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, in the Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Aug. 20, 1916, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1981 from South Bend Plastics after 17 years of service.

Mrs. Paprocki is survived by a daughter, Josephine (Norb) Rzepnicki of South Bend; four grandchildren, Ann Marie (Daniel) Elek of Osceola, Ind., Pamela (Tony) Moore of Granger, Ind., Christine (Chris) Lemert and Robert Rzepnicki, both of South Bend; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Austin and Collin Elek, Dylan Lentz and Dalton Lemert; four step-great-grandchildren; and by three sisters, Stella Schultz, Alice Huff and Joan Szabo, all of South Bend.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Lach and Joseph Lach.

Mrs. Paprocki was an avid bowler for many years. She was a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress and the South Bend-Mishawaka Bowling Association. She was an inductee of the Women's Bowling Hall of Fame.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
