SOUTH BEND - Theresa Paprocki, 88, formerly of North O’Brien Street, died at noon Tuesday in St Joseph’s Care Center-West.  Mrs. Paprocki retired as a marking room clerk from the former Robertson’s Department Store.

She was born October 26, 1903, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On May 10, 1922, in South Bend, as Theresa Szkielka, she married Julius Paprocki.  He died December 25, 1947.  She is survived by a brother, Richard Gleason of South Bend; and many nieces and nephews.  A son, Joseph J., died October 25, 1969.  She was a member of Daughters of Isabella Circle 572, Confraternity of the Holy Rosary, Apostleship of Prayer, both of St Stanislaus Catholic Church, Harvest House of Holy Cross Catholic Church, and was a volunteer for REAL Services.

Services will be at 11am Friday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 4pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
