JOHN C. PARCELL DIES AT AGE 59  

Resident Succumbs in New Mexico Hospital.       

John C. Parcell, aged 59, of rural route No. 2, Kelley road, Mishawaka, died suddenly at 7 p.m. Saturday in a hospital in Albuquerque, N. M.  Mr. Parcell had gone to New Mexico a short time ago for his health.  He was born Aug. 28, 1888, in Atna Green, Ind., and had lived here 45 years.  He married Maud M. Klein in Mishawaka, June 20, 1914.       

Mr. Parcell was a farmer.  Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Adam Berger, of rural route No. 1, Mishawaka; two sons, Lowell L. Parcell, of Port Murray, N. J., and Richard D. Parcell, at home; one brother Harvey Parcell, of Mishawaka, and five sisters Mrs. Dora Cooper, of Mishawaka, Mrs. Paul Ditchet and Mrs. Ross Holms, of Goshen, Ind., and Mrs. Howard Hurlie and Mrs. Harvey Schlarb, of Elkhart, Ind.       

Friends may call from Tuesday evening until the time of the funeral services at Ellsasser-Bend chapel.  Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.  Abner Mellander of the Jehovah Witness church South Bend, will officiate and burial will be in Ferrisville cemetery.  Mr. Parcell was a member of the Jehovah Witness church.
