Evelyn B. Paszli

August 8, 1919 – December 22, 1995

SOUTH BEND – Services for Evelyn B. Paszli, 76, of St Joseph’s Care Center-West, who died at 1am Friday in the nursing home, will be at 12:30pm Wednesday in St Stephen’s Catholic Church.  Cremation will follow.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 to 8pm Tuesday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

Mrs. Paszli had worked for the former Wilson Bros., South Bend Community Scholl Corp. and J.C.Penney.  She was born August 8, 1919, in Mishawaka.  On August 24, 1940, in South Bend, she married Joseph T. Paszli.  He died August 26, 1995.  Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Nowicki of South Bend; a son, Larry of South Bend; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and five sisters, Faye Majors of Elkhart, Ruth VanHeesbeke of New Carlisle, Jeannette Rhodes of Osceola, Ann Papp of South Bend, an Alice Mann of Garden Grove CA.  A great grandchild preceded her in death.  She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, St Theresa Society and South Bend Civic and Democratic Club.
