SOUTH BEND - Karen M. (Banicki) Patton, 37, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in an automobile-train accident in Boca Raton.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen of Boca Raton; her mother, Christine Banicki of South Bend; three sisters, Maryalice Miller and Roberta Brinley, both of South Bend, and Therese Ray of Florida.; and a brother, Martin Banicki of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
