Mrs. Emma O. Paulsen

May 23, 1882 – January 12, 1974

Mrs. Emma O. Paulsen, 91, of 1810 E. Donald St., died at 2:38pm Saturday at the Cardinal Nursing Home after an extended illness.  She was employed at Smith’s Cafeteria for over 20 years.

She was born May 23, 1882, in South Bend, where she lived all her life.  Her husband, Edward Paulsen, died several years ago.

Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Helen Taylor and Mrs. Marie VanHulle, both of South Bend, and two nephews, Charles Ollman of South Bend and Richard Ollman of Bargersville.

Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Monday at the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, where services will be at 1pm Tuesday.  Rev. Max B. Hayden, pastor of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
