Daniel G. Pauwels

September 12, 1977 – March 6, 1999

Daniel Gerard Pauwels, 21, died in an auto accident near Morristown NJ, on Saturday, March 6.

Daniel was born in Chapel Hill NC, was a 1995 graduate of Chapel Hill High School and a National Merit Scholar.  At the time of his death, he was geography major at Syracuse University.

Dan is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Marie Pauwels; his maternal grandmother, Margaret H. McCormick, all of Chapel Hill; and his paternal grandmother, Irene Pauwels of South Bend IN.
