Margaret E. Pauwels

July 19, 1919 – February 13, 2002

Margaret E. Pauwels, 82, of West 10^th Street, Mishawaka IN, passed away Wednesday February 13, in the Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka.

Margaret was born July 19, 1919, in Manitoba, Canada, as the daughter of the late Camiel and Marie (Petillion) DeVleeschouwer.  On June 15, 1940, as Margaret Waelbroeck in St Bavo’s Catholic Church, Mishawaka, she married Eugene “Pinky” Pauwels.  She is survived by her husband, Eugene; a daughter, Sylvia (Jerry) Hale of Hubbard Lake MI; a son, Thomas (Judith) Pauwels of Mishawaka; three grandchildren, Jennifer Pauwels, Melissa Pauwels and Julia Provey; five great grandchildren; and by a brother, Henry Waelbroeck of Terre Haute IN.

Margaret was a medical rep in Dr. Mahank and Dr. Wilson’s office.  She was a member of the BK Auxiliary and St. Bavo’s Catholic Church.

Friends may call from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Friday, February 15, with wake prayers at 3:30pm in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8^th Street, Mishawaka.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday, February 16, in ST Bavo’s Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating.  Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Osceola IN.
