Francis Pawloski: (Michigan City News Dispatch 2/11/1997)


Francis S. “Bud” Pawloski, 67, of Michigan City, died unexpectedly at 8 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 8, 1997) at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Monsignor Michael Tomaszewski officiating. Entombment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, with full military honors by American Legion Post 451. Friends may call from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and until 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. American Legion Skwiat Post 451 will conduct a memorial service at 8 p.m. and the St. Joseph Young Men’s Society will recite the rosary at 8:15 p.m. both Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Mr. Pawloski was born May 14, 1929, in Michigan City, the son of Joseph and Tillie Klosinski Pawloski. On June 21, 1952, in Michigan City, he married Josephine “Josie” Albano, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Debra (Jeral Sydow) Pawloski, Michigan City; three sons, David (Pat) Pawloski, LaPorte, Douglas (Diane) Pawloski, Troy, Mich., and Duane “Dean” (Sandy) Pawloski, Dayton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two brothers, Donald (Ann) Pawloski, San Antonio, Texas, and Kenneth Pawloski, Michigan City. A sister, Adeline Vocke, and a brother, Robert Pawloski, preceded him in death. Mr. Pawloski retired in 1992 as a clerk with 37 years of service with the U.S. Post Office, Michigan City. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, American Legion Post 451, where he was past commander and an honor guard member, a member of St. Joseph Young Men’s Society, Disabled American Veterans Post 37, AARP, (obit not complete)
