Louise Peffley

Louise Peffley, 87, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died following an illness early Sunday afternoon, May 26, in Life Care Centers of Sarasota. Mrs. Peffley was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Goshen, Ind., to the late John and Sally Miller, and had lived in Sarasota for over 35 years.

 

She is survived by a son, Jack (Nancy) Peffley of Sarasota; two grandsons, Robert Kyle (Cindy) Peffley of Cofield, N.C., and Michael David Peffley of Sarasota; and by five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Peffley retired as a cook at Memorial Hospital prior to moving to Florida. She was a former member of St. Paul's Memorial United Methodist Church, South Bend.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Violet Cemetery, Goshen. Burial will follow at the cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, is handling arrangements.
