Alma J. Peltz

SOUTH BEND - Alma J. Peltz, 95, of Regency Place, died at 7:50 a.m. today in the nursing home. Mrs. Peltz retired from the University of Notre Dame as a clerk in the laundry department after 23 years of service. She was born Nov. 22, 1899, in South Bend. In 1928, in South Bend, as Alma Woofter, she married Albert Peltz. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two nieces, Dolores Trump of Mount Vernon, Ind., and Viola Banghart of Michigan; a nephew, Eugene Woofter of Mishawaka; four great-nieces and nephews; and four great-great-nieces and nephews. She was a former member of First Christian Church.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place, with burial in Highland Cemetery. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
