Sister M. Zofii CSC, died in Saint Mary’s Convent Monday afternoon after a brief illness. She was born Frances Perzanowska in Poland in 1868. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1892 and made her final profession in 1898. She was stationed at Sacred Heart School, Fort Wayne, Ind.; St. Cecilia’s School, Washington DC; and St. Patrick’s School, Danville, Ill.; before coming to St. Mary’s in 1941.

A requiem high mass will be sung in the convent chapel at 8 a.m. Wednesday with burial in the community cemetery. Friends may call until 8 p.m. today in the novitiate parlor.
